Would you like to join our fast-paced small animal practice? We are looking for a part time veterinarian! We offer a seasoned support staff and doctors who are fun to work with!
The ideal veterinarian for this position would provide high-quality veterinary care, be energetic, have excellent communication skills with both clients and the staff, have a good work ethic, and have basic surgical skills.
Job description: Work at one of our 2 practices - On Mondays and Fridays you'll work at our smaller practice getting to know our amazing clients who are looking to form a relationship with a new veterinarian as their long time vet starts the process of retiring. You'll have the option of working one additional day per week on Thursdays, working alongside one of our seasoned doctors at our larger practice. You'll have the freedom to practice medicine the way you want, without the constraints of a corporation or an overbearing boss!
The clinics are located in Covington, GA and each contain modern equipment including:
*digital X-ray
*in-house Vetscan blood and urinalysis machines, including an Imagyst
*digital records
*therapeutic K-laser
The historic downtown square in Covington has been used for filming the CW television series “Vampire Diaries,” a Hallmark Christmas Movie titled “Christmas Everlasting” and Dolly Parton’s “Coat of Many Colors.” The square includes several restaurants and boutique stores, as well as a bakery and an art gallery. Covington is just 30 minutes from Atlanta, and less than an hour from Athens.
