Do you want to work as an ER Doctor, but have not done a rotating internship? Do you crave continuing your veterinary education and want access to world-class specialists and diagnostic equipment on a regular basis, but also appreciate a day (or 7 in a row) off? Come join us in the ER department at Summit Veterinary Referral Center! We are the largest tertiary referral center in the South Puget Sound, and we recently completed a major clinical expansion.
Our ECC mentorship program is a part of the Ethos ER Immerse Program. This six-month program will include time working with our criticalists, ECC doctors, and specialty teams. There will be formalized group didactics with colleagues both within the hospital and within the Ethos ER Immerse program across the country. This is a certificate program during which you will be well compensated and scheduled with work/life balance in mind. At the end of six months, you will spend two years as an ER doctor at Summit, with competitive wages and a generous benefits package.
Compensation: $3,200 biweekly (equal to approximately $83,200 annually) during the mentorship period. Period lasts, on average, six months. Post mentorship, salary will be the greater of $70/hr or 25% production.
Here you’ll have access to world-class specialists in anesthesia, critical care, cardiology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, surgery, neurology, nutrition, radiology and oncology. Our specialists work closely with the ER and critical care teams, and you will have the opportunity to work both triage and in-patient (hospitalist) shifts.
At Summit we want you to enjoy both your time at work, and your time away from it. Tacoma is located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, home to some of the best outdoor recreation, from paddle-boarding to skiing. For those seeking indoor diversions, the local music, arts, and culinary scenes are world renowned.
